Slabs are half as tall as a block and can be crafted using a row of 3 blocks by using these blocks:

• Oak Planks = Oak Slab
• Birch Planks = Birch Slab
• Palm Planks = Palm Slab
• Dark Oak Planks = Dark Oak Slab
• Stone Bricks = Stone Brick Slab
• Mossy Bricks = Mossy Brick Slab
• Sandstone = Sandstone Slab
• Smooth Sandstone = Smooth Sandstone Slab
• Red Sandstone = Red Sandstone Slab
• Smooth Red Sandstone = Smooth Red Sandstone Slab
• Cobblestone = Cobblestone Slab
• Stone = Stone Slab
• Bricks = Brick Slab
• Mossy Cobblestone = Mossy Cobble Slab
• Brimstone Brick = Brimstone Brick Slab
• Moon Bricks = Moon Brick Slab

Crafts

2 Stone Slabs above each other are used to make Concrete.

Stone Brick Slab/Cobblestone Slab + Moss makes Mossy Brick Slab/Mossy Cobble Slab

Usage

you use it as a alternate choice for stairs if you don't have that much materials
